The app
This page is the app's own corner of the site. It holds the two documents the App Store points at — the privacy policy and the support page — at addresses that will not move when the front of the house is rearranged.

What it is
Thirty traditional board games — some four thousand years old, most of them long out of fashion — each playable against the innkeeper at three strengths, or against a second player at the same table. Every board carries its own rules, written out plainly, and the app explains a move it will not let you make rather than simply refusing it. One nightly challenge, the same for everybody, drawn fresh each evening.

What it costs
Sixteen of the thirty games are free — the first two of each of the eight themes — with three take-backs in every game. One optional purchase, The Whole Cellar, unlocks the remaining fourteen permanently and removes the limit on take-backs. It is a one-time purchase, not a subscription, and it restores on your other devices because it belongs to your Apple Account.
The nightly challenge is free for everyone, with or without that purchase, and it reaches all thirty games including the fourteen in the cellar. That is the point of it.
The price is set in the App Store and shown to you there and in the app, in your own currency. It is not written down here, because a number on a web page and a number in the store are two things that can disagree.
Getting it
Lamplight Tavern is coming to the App Store. Until it is listed there is nothing to install here — and nothing here to sign up for either.
